Nick has extensive experience of advising corporate clients on a wide range of transactions including mergers and acquisitions and complex business re-organisations. Since 2001 he has developed a special interest and expertise in consulting and advising family owned businesses on strategic issues including acquisitions and disposals, family business succession planning, governance issues, dispute resolution and business reorganisation projects.

Nick leads the firm’s family business team in Bristol with lawyers drawn from various legal specialities but all dedicated to developing and delivering best practice advice for family owned businesses. He has written numerous articles on family business topics, and is a regular speaker at family business conferences providing training on family business issues to both professionals and families in business.
