Dong-Yol Yoon is the president and founder of Yoon & Lee. His comprehensive knowledge of the processes and issues involved in intellectual property law stems from his experience in product design, both as a patent applicant active in polymer chemistry research within the chemical industry and as a patent attorney. He has published extensively on the doctrine of equivalents and other legal aspects of intellectual property; and has lectured on intellectual property law at Yonsei University, Seoul. Dong-Yol Yoon is a former President of the Korean Regional Group of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), a former President of the Korean Patent Attorneys Association (KPAA), and a past president of the Intellectual Property Forum (IP Forum).
