Career

Ms. Halim is one of the founding partners of HHR Lawyers. She is a graduate from the Faculty of Law of the University of Indonesia. In 1997, Ms. Halim received a scholarship from the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) and the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation (JIII), also attended the “Industrial Property Rights Training Course for Management” in Tokyo. In 2002, Ms. Halim was awarded a scholarship from the Australian Attorney General Office and appointed as an Indonesian legal delegate for the “International Legal Services Advisory Council” coordinated by the Australian Attorney General Office. In 2021 and 2022, Ms. Halim attended the Professional Education held by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Heading the Firm’s Corporate, Investment and M&A Practice Group, she has developed an extensive practice not only in corporate and investment works, but also complex corporate restructuring and M&A transactions. Her more than 30 years of legal practice and extensive experience in handling and structuring various foreign investment works has made her a good source of contact for foreign clients from any country intending to invest into Indonesia or do business with Indonesian corporations. Her other specializations are: (i) Trade & Competition, (ii) Technology & Intellectual Property, and (iii) Manpower & Industrial Relations.

She has been consistently acknowledged by: (i) the Asia Pacific Legal 500 as one of the leading individuals in Corporate/M&A in Indonesia, has been listed in the Hall of Fame in Corporate and M&A, and as Recommended Lawyers in Shipping, (ii) the Expert Guides as Women in Business Law and M&A, (iii) the Asia Law & Practice as one of the leading legal experts in general corporate practice, and (iv) Vantage Asia as Indonesia’s The A-List Lawyers.
