Mr. Zhang is the Managing Partner of Haiwen & Partners. Mr. Zhang has over 25 years of legal experiences, and has widely been regarded by the clients and industry as expert in the M&A and capital markets areas.
Mr. Zhang joined Haiwen in February 2004 as partner. Before joining Haiwen, he worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in its New York and Hong Kong offices from 1997 to 2003. Mr. Zhang also worked with the China Securities Regulatory Commission as staff attorney between 1993 and 1996.

Mr. Zhang received his LL.B. degree and his Master of Laws degree from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing in 1990 and 1993, respectively, and his LL.M. degree from New York University School of Law in 1997.
