Position

Kirin Abbas is a Director at Paragon Law and is also a leading immigration solicitor in our Business Immigration department. Kirin has a particular expertise in the technology, sports, engineering, higher education, and energy sectors. Kirin also works closely with universities and colleges to provide assistance with student visas, sponsor licence applications, and in-house immigration training and seminars.

Whilst Immigration Law is often a standardised process with the same processes for a range of enquiries, Kirin Abbas is able to truly understand the nature of your business and what you want to achieve. In doing so, Kirin is able to tailor her advice to your company as opposed to delivering a blanket approach.

Career

Trained at Paragon Law, becoming a founding director in 2005. Kirin’s area of focus is acting for clients on all applications under Tier 2 of the points based system. As part of this focus, Kirin manages the Sponsor Management System (SMS) for a number of Paragon Law’s corporate clients. However, not only does Kirin assist with the management of the SMS, but she can assist throughout all stages of the process, from advising businesses whether they need to join the SMS through to advising on the impact of changes to a role and the impact on sponsorship. For organisations who manage their SMS in-house, Kirin can support HR teams to ensure they remain compliant with their sponsorship duties.
