Rebecca is a dedicated solicitor currently specialising in Contentious Trusts and Probate matters within our Wills, Trusts & Tax team. Her objective approach, and deep understanding of her clients’ situations make her a valuable asset in resolving complex disputes effectively.

Rebecca completed her LLB (Honours) degree in Law at the University of Aberystwyth. Following her undergraduate studies, she pursued her Legal Practice Course with an LLM in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law, where she was awarded a Distinction.

Before she joined Aaron & Partners in August 2022, Rebecca gained valuable experience at Hatchers Solicitors in Shrewsbury, where she worked as part of their Civil Litigation team.

In her pursuit to become an associate member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS), Rebecca is currently working towards her diploma.

Rebecca has a wide-ranging expertise that covers various trust and estate disputes. Her focus includes executor disputes, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, and Will challenges. She has developed a special interest in high-value contentious trust and probate matters, working on complex estate administration disputes, claims to remove executors, and disputes involving lasting powers of attorney and the Court of Protection.

Her caring and empathetic approach has been shaped by her personal experience with her own family’s litigation process. Understanding the stress and emotional impact of such disputes, Rebecca is dedicated to providing compassionate and tailored advice to her clients.

A strong twelve months has seen Aaron & Partners LLP bolster its contentious trusts and probate offering with the arrival of several solicitors from market competitors. Whilst possessing numerous offices in the region, the firm’s Chester offering allows the team to be well-placed to act on complex and high-value agricultural estate disputes, boasting a diverse range of clients spanning the local area, Shropshire and North Wales. Steered by the ‘wonderful’ James Wallace, who is highly regarded for his proficiency handling claims with an international element, as well as Court of Protection work, the team excels in Inheritance Act disputes, propriety estoppel claims, and cases involving capital gains and inheritance tax aspects. Vlad Macdonald-Munteanu has ‘developed a thriving contentious practice’, with a litany of Wales-based clients seeking his counsel on Inheritance Act and Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act proceedings. Rebecca Beaman has been increasingly active in matters since joining from Hatchers Solicitors LLP in 2022.
