Career

Eugen Sârbu has been a lawyer at Oglindă&Partners since 2015, being promoted as partner in 2020. Eugen has coordinated Oglindă&Partners’ teams in major cases concerning international arbitration and public procurement.

Eugen is involved in arbitration proceedings, representing parties in complex disputes in front of Romanian Arbitration Courts and foreign arbitration courts. A significant part of his arbitration expertise is in disputes arising from construction contracts. Also, as a lawyer specialized in international arbitration in Romania, Eugen has managed cases regarding financial contracts, technology contracts and, in other cases, was invited as a lawyer to be part of international dispute teams due to his expertise in Romanian Contractual Law.

In Public Procurement, Eugen has developed strong technical skills by advising clients in drafting tenders and by representing domestic and international bidders in disputes arising from public procurement awarding procedures.

Eugen is also an active academic researcher, publishing as author and co-author various studies and academic articles.
