GEORGINA’S ROLE & EXPERIENCE

Georgina trained and qualified in a large Yorkshire based commercial law firm, where she worked for a number of years in all areas of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, and carried out regulatory and compliance work on behalf of the Law Society.

Georgina joined BRIDGE in 2017, where she continues to offer practical advice and support to clients on all areas of contentious and non-contentious employment law, acting for both individuals and small/medium sized companies as well as the firm’s larger, commercial clients.

Georgina has a particular interest in discrimination law and TUPE and is also the team’s lead on business immigration. Georgina is a member of the Employment Lawyer’s Association.

Georgina’s experience is across the whole range of employment law but she particularly enjoys advising businesses and employee clients on:

– TUPE;
– Re-organisations and restructures;
– Settlement Agreements and exit negotiations;
– Managing disciplinary and grievances, performance management and employee absences;
– Post termination restrictions;
– Tribunal defence work; and
– Sponsor licence applications.
