Aleksandar Mancev works with Vulic Law as legal counsel. He has over 25 years of professional experience, advising and counselling domestic and foreign clients on the legal aspects of their business in Serbia. His professional experience includes serving as the head of the real estate practice for one of Serbia’s leading corporate law firms and he is recognised in the Serbian market as a leading real estate lawyer.
His professional focus is on large transactions, infrastructure projects and real estate development projects. He is highly regarding for his diverse expertise in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions. His experience includes property sales and purchases, development transactions, the property aspects of mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. He also has considerable expertise in the hospitality sector.
Aleksandar advises clients such as IKEA, Lafarge, Caterpillar and BiP, among others. He is recognised for his expertise in niche areas such as public-private partnerships (PPP), project finance, greenfield and brownfield developments, and commercial leasing.
Aleksandar is hailed by Legal 500 for his work on property acquisitions, construction, financing, leasing and real estate tax.
Throughout the course of his extensive 25-year career, Aleksandar has worked on all types of real estate projects.
He was the key adviser to IKEA, the Swedish multinational retail company that designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture, kitchen appliances and home accessories, on their search for land acquisition in Serbia for the construction of a retail site.
His experience also includes being leader of the advising team to Gazprom Neft, a leading Russian petroleum company, on the real estate aspects of their acquisition of a state owned petroleum company in Serbia, as well as the sale of real estate of a state owned company in bankruptcy to a leading Austrian investment fund, among others.
