Sara brings her broad experience in diverse spheres of law which she has gained from her work as an in-house lawyer in a big international franchising company. During her three-year tenure as an in-house lawyer, she dealt with the franchise agreement and related negotiations, preparation, and review of all types of sale, service, supply, lease, and any other commercial contracts, labor disputes, state registration of the changes in the constituent documents, and application for permits and licenses for the company.
In addition to her aforementioned legal practice, she has volunteered for international non-governmental and governmental organizations which have enriched her with different legal, organizational, and administrative skill sets.
As a senior associate at VLM, Sara consistently provides our clients with tailored contracts and insightful advice on intellectual property, data protection, and other legal matters. Moreover, armed with her impressive theoretical and practical background in the international arbitration field, Sara actively engaged in navigating our clients’ complex disputes and securing their interests before international arbitration institutes. She has supported a broad array of businesses spanning from FMCG companies and insurance brokers to the oil and gas industry players.
Alongside her legal practice at our firm, Sara is an adjunct lecturer at Baku State University.
