Ibrar is a senior Director within Lei Dat & Baig Solicitors . Ibrar qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 and has been an accredited IAAS senior caseworker and supervisor since 2005.
He has exceptional experiencing in advising a wide range of clients in relation to their Immigration matters. He is a competent advocate, representing clients before the First Tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal. Ibrar is also an experienced trainer, offering bespoke training to newly qualified caseworkers and Solicitors in the Immigration field. Ibrar has a keen interest and vast experience in dealing with clients in Immigration detention, including previous experience in Criminal Law.
Ibrar has worked closely with the Legal Aid Agency for many years, managing the legal aid department and maintaining an excellent record with the Legal Aid Agency.
Ibrar is very committed and passionate about his clients. He is always willing to go above and beyond in order to achieve success with the Home Office and also in appeals before the Tribunal.
Ibrar is particularly experienced in dealing with vulnerable clients including those with mental health issues, clients who have suffered severe persecution, torture and abuse. He has substantial experience in taking detailed statements, and instructing appropriate experts such as scarring experts, mental health medical practitioners, the medical foundation who specialise in medical legal reports, and the Helen Bamber Foundation.
This is a niche area of law in which Ibrar has established himself in the Liverpool/Merseyside region. Ibrar has an excellent rapport with organisations working with asylum seekers and vulnerable persons including Asylum Link and City Hearts.
He has experience in dealing with minor applicants and those under Social Services Care.
