Career

Peter is a corporate lawyer in the KPMG Law team. 

He has over 17 years of business advisory and transactional experience in the London offices of private practice international law firms (including King & Wood Mallesons, Herbert Smith Freehills and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer). 

Peter has particular expertise in advising on private equity buy-outs, buy-ins, domestic and cross border group re-organisations, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions and complex cross border joint ventures and transactions. Peter spent three years in Singapore between 2007 and 2010 advising clients on cross-border M&A transactions and joint ventures across South East Asia. 

He also has extensive experience advising a broad range of clients, including private equity sponsors, management teams, financial institutions and private and public companies across a range of industry sectors. He has extensive industry knowledge in the retail and leisure, telecoms, technology and media, pharma and life sciences and energy and infrastructure (in particular, power and oil and gas) sectors. 

Peter works closely with KPMG’s Legal Technology team to bring technology enabled solutions to clients. Peter understands the ‘more for less’ challenge facing in-house legal teams today and is dedicated to employing innovative, tech-enabled and alternative ways of delivering legal services to ensure GCs and their legal teams are able to deliver value to their stakeholders. 

Peter also works alongside KPMG’s tax, accounting and deal advisory business as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
