Emilie Maes has extensive experience in dealing with all tax aspects of M&A transactions (buy side and sell side), acquisition- and financing structures, (cross-border) corporate restructurings and management incentive plans.

Emilie’s practice also includes assistance in relation to tax controversy matters especially with regard to withholding taxes, corporate restructurings and management incentives.

Prior to joining Arteo, Emilie worked in the tax department of a Magic Circle law firm and the transaction tax department of a Big 4 firm.
