Career

Otilia joined GNP in July 2020 as coordinator of the Competition & State Aid team and starting January 2021 Otilia became a GNP Partner. In her role, Otilia coordinates projects related to competition matters, assisting clients during investigations of the Competition Council, merger control, state aid application and clearance by the EU Commission, proactive and focused competition compliance programs, as well as projects regarding contract restructuring and public procurement procedures.
During her career, Otilia has been involved in high-profile competition cases for the retail and FMCG industry, telecom sector, insurance market and leasing sector, oil and gas, wood market, tourism, food and hospitality industry and cinema sector etc. She has also coordinated prominent state aid procedures in the transportation and infrastructure sectors.
