Career

Lupita is the head of the Infrastructure and Energy Practice at Ramos, Ripoll & Schuster. She has focused her legal practice in the areas of projects and energy. She has advised government entities and private sector companies in the design, structuring and implementation of public works projects, public-private partnerships, operation and maintenance construction of ports, railroads, highways and other structures. She has also directed numerous tenders for the awarding of projects.

In the electricity sector, she has advised national and international clients in all types of projects related to the Wholesale Electricity Market, including its successful participation in Long Term Auctions and its accreditation as Market Participants. She has successfully negotiated and implemented contracts related to the financing of generation, transmission, distribution and supply of electricity projects and has advised national and international clients in the structuring and execution of solar and wind farms, combined cycle plants, Isolated Supply and Local Generation projects, among others.
