Career
Ana da Ponte Lopes leads the compliance, regulatory and ESG area since February 2023.
After more than 7 years in the prudential supervision of Banco de Portugal (2015 to 2023), where she performed duties as functional coordinator of the Compliance and Corporate Governance Unit (2018 to 2023), and with previous roles in Teixeira Duarte Group and Garrigues, Ana da Ponte Lopes has extensive experience in the areas of corporate governance, internal control and fit and proper, as well as a deep knowledge of the regulatory landscape of the banking and financial sector.
At Costa Pinto, Ana leads the team dedicated to supporting clients in matters of corporate governance, regulatory, compliance and ESG, both in a transactional context, as well as in consulting and monitoring the regular activity of these institutions.
