Crispine is the Co- Founder and Senior partner at KO Associates LLP and practices in the Projects, Energy & Infrastructure as well as the Corporate & Commercial practice groups. His expertise includes corporate M&A, Project Finance, Transport & infrastructure, Energy Law, PPPs, Public Procurement Law, EAC Treaty Law, Technology and Media.
With over 16 years of experience, Crispine has advised, been consulted and provided transaction advisory to local and international clients from M&A, private equity, trade&investment, and Infrastructure projects.
In Infrastructure and Energy he has been involved in a number of project development programs including the LAPSSET Corridor Project, Project Finance of Oserian Two Lakes industrial Park and Kilifi Eco-industrial Parks, development of the Konza Technopolis, Transaction Advisory in developmet of first of its kind Kenya National Smart Grid PPP Project, Transaction advisory in the 2nd Nyali Bridge PPP Project, PPP Pipeline Screening and identification of 15 Priority Projects for the Government of Kenya , Transaction Advisory to Kenya Electricity Generating Limited in the Project Finance for the 120MW of Olkaria II Geothermal Project, and Development of PPP Project Facilitation Fund Governance and Operations for the National Treasury, GOK.
In Corporate M&A he has advised on various mergers and financings involving AIG, Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), National Social Security Fund, KENGEN, Ahadi Wireless Corp, Jubilee Holdings, Quickmart Supermarkets and National Treasury. He has been Legal Expert in the multi-sector and multi donor funded EAC Trade and Transport Facilitation Project (EATTF), technical advisory to the East Africa Trade and Investment Hub (EATIH) on an Investment Diagnostic for Kenya, Consulted for the IFC in the study for the EAC Common Market Scored Card.
