Career

Justyna has been responsible for the development of OW’s public assistance specialisation for several years and manages the Warsaw office.

She advises both large multinational corporations and public administration institutions such as the Ministry of Development and Technology, the Polish Development Fund, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Climate and Environment or the National Centre for Research and Development.

Justyna participates in the legislative process of legal acts related to competition law, including state aid law.

Advised on the first Polish IPCEI (Important Project of Common European Interest) project.

She has repeatedly proven the compatibility of aid granted with the internal market of the European Union in projects of significant importance to the Polish economy, or IPCEI projects, demonstrating, inter alia, that the public support granted does not cause excessive negative effects on competition and trade between Member Countries.

She leads projects requiring representation both before Polish authorities and before the European Commission in proceedings concerning the assessment of the compatibility of aid with the internal market.

Speaker and participant of conferences on competition law, including state aid – both specialist and sectoral. She cooperates closely with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, the Special Economic Zones, the Polish Development Fund or the Energy Policy Institute.

Education

She graduated from law studies at the University of Wrocław and completed a one-year scholarship at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. She holds a degree in public aid from the Warsaw School of Economics and a degree in German law from Humbolt University in Berlin.
