A modern Polish advisory firm
OW is an experienced consulting firm in the area of professional services. We combine a wide range of competences, creating teams dedicated to specific projects. Within the OW Group, we offer legal and tax services, analytical support (OW Analytics), accounting and payroll consultancy (GOBS), and extensive business support (Saurus Grow). Since 2005, we have provided comprehensive advisory services both to Polish firms, and international companies entering the Polish market.

As of today, OW consists of more than 180 specialists, with over 400 active clients, operating in more than 55 countries, and in dozens of areas of specialization.

We understand business because, just like many businesses, we work in an agile manner, apply modern project management methodologies, and work constantly with our partners to achieve speedier and superior results. Our effectiveness comes down to many factors, the most important ones being our knowledge of our clients’ business and the immediate application of this know-how so as to meet a precisely defined outcome. Over the last seventeen years, our track record of successfully carrying out hundreds of significant projects, many ground-breaking, speaks for itself.

OW, in addition to providing expert views and advice on the use of new technologies, also seeks to automate complex processes through the creation and implementation of innovative IT tools, and this plays a major role in our consulting. Together with our partners, we have developed many legal-tech tools which facilitate and automatize certain processes e.g. tax reporting, GDPR compliance, and whistleblowing (VAT Smart Tools, MDRnow, WhistBoard).

International competence
We possess comprehensive knowledge of the business culture in a broad range of countries, including the specific nature of their legal and tax systems. This, combined with our capacity to provide services in 7 languages, allows us to smoothly handle trans-national projects.

From the very beginning of our operations, OW advised entrepreneurs from German-speaking areas, and soon began offering dedicated advisory services to our Spanish-speaking clients. Now, we run three international desks: the German desk, the Spanish desk, and the Asia desk. The latter cooperates with personnel from China, Korea and Japan, who form one team to support Asian clients operating or starting operations in Poland. In fact, all our international desks are staffed by teams of experts who provide specialized and dedicated support to entrepreneurs from a given region. Based on our knowledge of the language, culture and fundamental legal institutions in these global locations, these desks liaise directly with clients intending to invest in Poland. They also serve international companies whose branches, representative offices or subsidiaries operate in Poland.

We cooperate with companies in the Moore Global network. Our active involvement in that network enables us to provide effective advice at an international level.

We are proud to work with international capital groups, publicly listed companies, and leaders of domestic and European markets in sectors such as the automotive industry, e-commerce, chemicals, textiles, food, IT, energy and construction.

Operating in alignment with our values
We support the concept of the economy of values and so aim to operate in alignment with the values of OW. To this end, we have created and cultivated relationships by actively participating in the Open Eyes Economy Summit movement. We also implement our values in the work we do to benefit animals and the planet. Recently, our fight for animal rights was recognized by the newspaper Rzeczpospolita in the pro bono category in their 17th Ranking of Law Firms.

At Olesiński & Wspólnicy, we believe that only by acting in accordance with our values we can fully enjoy our success. Among these values, what has united us most over many years is our love for animals and respect for nature. Every day we work pro bono to protect animals – we fight for their rights, we conduct proceedings in cases of animal abuse, and we seek out new homes for those who have been abandoned. In fact, many of our employees have adopted dogs and cats into their homes. Our lawyers also help the Ekostraż Foundation, regularly advising them, and this has led to many successes in court proceedings regarding animal abuse. In addition, we train volunteers and support social animal protection inspectors, who we teach how to act when collecting neglected animals. As part of our ongoing mission to help, we respond to police questions concerning the regulations which should be applied during interventions.

In 2020, we celebrated OW’s 15th anniversary in line with our values – by continuing our tradition of helping the Ekostraż Foundation. We launched a fundraiser and made a donation to build an enclosure for animals at the Ekostraż shelter in Wrocław so that these creatures would be able to play and socialize in a supportive environment. A number of OW staff was also engaged in the process of building the shelter itself.

As 70% of the OW team are women, they prove that competence is not a matter of gender, but of talent, passion and commitment. We support our female staff in many ways, and every year, on International Women’s Day, we engage in the ‘Shoe Box’ project in aid of women in need.

In 2019, we received one of the most prestigious Polish rankings – a distinction for pro bono activities by a law firm – in the daily newspaper Rzeczpospolita.

We support the concept of an economy of values. As part of this, we create and cultivate relationships by actively participating in the Open Eyes Economy Summit movement.

Development is an inseparable aspect of our business. At OW, we have been advising international companies entering the Polish market and developing their activities in Poland since 2005. At the same time, we support companies carrying out cross-border projects or planning to expand outside Poland.

In order to provide specialized and dedicated support to entrepreneurs, our experts work at three international desks, devoted to various regions:

  • the German desk,
  • the Spanish desk,
  • the Asia desk (China, Japan and Korea).

Our international desks are made up of attorneys, tax advisors, and certified accountants, and features exclusive support for German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean companies provided by native speakers on our staff. This allows us to provide professional legal and tax advice in up to 7 languages.

To complement our international expertise, we cooperate with trusted consulting companies belonging to the Moore Global network, which enables us to provide effective advice on an international level.

We are proud to work with international capital groups, publicly listed companies and leaders of domestic and European markets in sectors such as the automotive industry, e-commerce, chemicals, textiles, food, IT, energy, and construction.

As OW, we have been working with foreign chambers of commerce and industry for years and take part in international industry conferences, cooperating with, among others, the Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
