Aoife is an international arbitration and litigation specialist with over 15 years’ experience in complex domestic and multi-jurisdictional disputes. She advises high-net-worth, SME and large corporate clients in relation to a broad range of industry sectors including financial markets, energy and natural resources and technology. She has particular expertise in China-related disputes, having worked for a period in Hong Kong and been instructed by Chinese parties in relation to a number of complex actions relating to energy and international trade. Aoife has extensive international arbitration experience under the rules of most of the major arbitral institutions (including the LCIA, LMAA, ICC and SIAC). Aoife has been recognised as a key lawyer by the Legal 500, in which she has been described as “proactive” and with “great commercial sense”. Aoife trained at K&L Gates and has worked in disputes departments of major city and US practices including Stephenson Harwood and Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson.
