Ms. Miriam Andreta is an Indonesian qualified lawyer with extensive knowledge and experience in M&A, banking and finance, oil and gas, and antitrust matters. She graduated from the University of Gadjah Mada and attended a one-year undergraduate exchange program at the University of Tokyo. She was ranked as Notable Practitioner by IFLR1000 31st Edition, was listed as ALB’s Rising Star Indonesia by Asian Legal Business and regarded by Asian Business Law Journal as one of the A-List Indonesia’s Top 100 Lawyers. She was nominated as Woman Lawyer of the Year at ALB Indonesia Law Award and also listed as “40 under 40“, a list of outstanding legal professionals in Asia by ALB. In addition, she was shortlisted by Women in Business Law Awards Asia 2020, in Rising Star Awards for 2 categories: Corporate and Finance.

Ms. Miriam Andreta was a partner at one of the biggest firms in Jakarta before joining W&P. She has almost fifteen years of experience acting for both foreign and domestic lenders in high profile syndication financing to Indonesian companies, including issuance of bonds and Medium-Term Notes. She also represents reputable foreign investment companies in upstream and downstream oil and gas projects, multinational companies (including various Japanese companies) in their Indonesian investments in Indonesia, as well as Indonesian state-owned companies on various legal matters.On Antitrust matters, Ms. Miriam Andreta has been advising both local and foreign companies on various antitrust issues relating to their business, as well as assisting their merger notification process. Because of her tremendous role at W&P’s Antitrust department, representing various multi-national companies in numerous sensitive Antitrust cases, W&P was regarded as one of the Antitrust & Competition Indonesian Law Firms of 2020 by Asian Business Law Journal.
