Position

Zoë is a highly experienced and accomplished partner at Leigh Day, leading the competition law practice and specialising in leading high-value, opt-out collective actions in the Competition Appeals Tribunal (CAT). Zoë champions the rights of consumers, investors, and other stakeholders to hold firms accountable for breaking competition rules.

Zoë is leading the prominent collective action claims against the six largest water companies for allegedly mis-reporting the number of spills of sewage. Zoë represents the proposed class representative acting on behalf of over 20 million customers for over £800m in damages. This case will be the first ‘environmental’ competition claim in the CAT.

Prior to joining Leigh Day, Zoë launched multi-million-pound opt-out collective actions, represented vehicle owners in diesel emission group claims, and advised multinational corporations facing billion-dollar competition claims. She also has extensive experience navigating regulatory investigations in the financial sector and developing litigation strategies for cases involving Foreign Exchange, SSA bonds, and LIBOR rate setting.

She is a featured expert on Lexology and winner of the 2024 Client Choice award, Competition – Plaintiff.
