Alessandro de Botton began his professional career in 1997 with a well-known Milan-based law firm, focusing mainly on litigation and arbitration, labour law and commercial contracts. In 2000 he joined Lombardi e Associati, practising primarily in corporate law, banking and finance. In 2003 he became junior partner with  Pedersoli Lombardi e Associati, and thereafter with Lombardi Molinari e Associati (to become Lombardi Molinari Segni), where he was equity partner from 2006 to 2016.

Since January 2017 he has been an equity partner of Molinari e Associati, first, and of Molinari Agostinelli, then.

He has significant experience in corporate transactions (such as company and business acquisitions and disposals, mergers, and joint ventures) advising both industrial undertakings and private equity funds. He is very active in the real estate sector, advising institutional investors, both Italian and foreign, as well as developers. His practice includes also litigation; in the last years he has been involved in several corporate restructurings.
