Career

Prior to joining Rizkana & Partners, Cherouk worked at a top-tier local law firm where she worked on numerous successful banking transactions, capital market matters, arbitration cases, legal due diligence and reviewing and drafting various types of agreements. Cherouk primarily focuses on competition & sports law. She is also experienced in several other practice areas including general corporate, capital markets, labour law and banking & finance. She has had the unique opportunity of being part of the sports law industry in Egypt. She has a strong understanding of international federations processes; professional athletes and sponsorship contracts; the transfer system, the organisation of sports events, and the funding of sports and sports related events. Cherouk has developed an exceptional understanding of the regulatory framework and processes governing the sports industry through working in an International Non-Governmental Organisation based in Berlin in partnership with FIFA.

Cherouk holds a Master’s degree with Honors in Sports Law from the University Aix-Marseille III, 2014. She obtained a Maitrise de Droit in International Business Law from Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne University and a Bachelor of Law degree from Cairo University.
