Rūdolfs Vilsons is a lawyer of TGS Baltic Merger and Acquisition practice group and a lawyer – tax advisor of the Tax practice group practising also win the field of corporate law and commercial law.He has been practising in law office TGS Baltic since 2015. He has gained vast experience during his employment in the tax advisory, transaction assurance and audit companies, incl., Ernst&Young Baltic, TaxLink Baltic, for more than 8 years.Rūdolfs advises Latvian and foreign clients on the tax application and legal issues; he is engaged in the assessment and structuring of client transactions by analysing tax and legal consequences. He has experience in the capital share, undertaking and asset due diligence, preparation for sale, preparation and implementation of reorganisation, purchase and sales transactions. He advises clients on the issues regarding investment projects, development of corporate tax and other risk management systems, as well as assessed the compliance of the processes (incl., operational and tax application) introduced by merchants with the requirements of regulatory enactments and best practice. Rūdolfs represents the clients also during the State Revenue Service (SRS) tax audits, provides assistance to the customers on contesting and appeal against the decisions of the SRS.
