Position

Terry remains one of the most respected pensions practitioners in the market, and heads the firm’s pensions practice. She acts for employers, trustees and contractors on all aspects of pensions law. Her clients operate across a number of sectors. She has a particular focus advising on the complex protections for employees in the coal, electricity, railways and water sectors.

Terry’s key clients include the trustees of a defined benefit pension scheme sponsored by a financial institution with complex regulatory and compliance obligations, and employers with employees who have the benefit of protected person rights.

Terry is a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers, a past chair of the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association Yorkshire Group, a co-author of Tolley’s Pensions Law and a member of the LexisNexis PSL editorial board. She has recently taken on a personal trustee appointment using her experience to help a local charity.
