Restructuring and insolvency

Position

Amy was promoted to Partner in 2021 as the firm continues to acknowledge the level of her skills, expertise and relationships, in particular with key ABLs, including Close Brothers Limited, Shawbrook Bank Limited, Independent Growth Finance Ltd and ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance N.V..

Amy is well known and highly regarded by those that provide alternative funding through the ABL market (which has grown rapidly over the past 10 years), as well as regional and national insolvency practitioners and key stakeholders and lenders in the market, who all rate Amy extremely highly.

Career

Amy has deservedly advanced quickly in her career and is an integral part of the regional and national restructuring and insolvency team proposition at IM.  Amy is well regarded by clients, colleagues and competitors.  Amy was the only individual within the Midlands R&I category to be ranked both in Legal 500 as a Rising Star and as an Associate to watch in Chambers, which is testament to her reputation in the market.

Amy returned from maternity leave in September 2021 and on her return has received a number of new instructions from new clients, notably Alvarez & Marsal Holdings LLC, working on an insolvency of a high profile energy company. Amy has also won key instructions following her return from maternity leave from R Capital Partners LLP, Close Brothers Limited, Leonard Curtis Recovery Limited, Alvarez & Marsal and National Westminster Bank Plc (even though IM is not currently on panel with NatWest).
