Gill Edwards – Hugh James

Hugh James acquired Potter Rees Dolan in late 2022, taking on a team which specialises in brain injuries and spinal conditions such as cerebral palsy and cauda equina, with further areas of expertise including instances of failure to diagnose, surgical negligence, amputations and fatal injuries. The practice is noted for its ability to develop ‘a client relationship which is compassionate and understanding, but which in no way compromises the professional goals‘. Helen Dolan, who is highly experienced in complex brain injury cases, including those involving children, heads up the team. Also integral are Lesley Herbertson, recommended for birth injuries and amputations, and Gill Edwards, whose caseload primarily comprises brain and birth injury, spinal injury and amputation matters. The firm further acquired The Roland Partnership in early 2024, adding the highly experienced Nina Roland and Trevor Roland to the practice.
