Career

In his practice, Dr. Christoph Oertel advises and puplishes on International Contract and Commercial Law as well as in the field of Corporate Law (including Mergers and Acquisitions) and litigation. Being a member of the French Desk at Brödermann Jahn he is especially capable in supporting clients from French speaking countries with their business activities in Germany and in advising German clients in their business activities in the French speaking world.

Dr. Christoph Oertel is currently president of the Contract Law Commission of the International Association of Lawyers. He organizes and presides seminars for continued legal education, and
scientific working sessions on new trends and challenges of contract drafting in a cross-border
business environment.
