Career
Stavros has significant experience in complex transactions particularly in public tender procedures and privatizations. Over the past years Stavros and his team have been involved in a series of high profile privatization projects that have changed the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Greece. Further, Stavros leads the firm’s Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions practice where his expertise spans many company takeovers, initial public offerings and all forms of corporate lending and debt restructuring, including his participation in the issuance of the very first high- yield bond in Greece.
Stavros also has profound experience in tourism & leisure projects providing legal advice to local and international investors and developers in some of the most renowned projects. He is one of the very few lawyers with in depth knowledge of the gaming industry in Greece. Last but not least, Stavros has an excellent track record in civil litigation cases having represented clients in some of the highest stake cases and has been praised by clients in the 2008 edition of Chambers & Partners as “highly skilled and growing in experience.”
