Career

Over her 12 years of experience, Andrea Ioakim has developed a strong and extensive expertise in corporate restructuring and M&A projects and has advised local and international clients on corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance as well as on EU regulatory matters, such as data protection, sanctions etc.

Before joining Kinanis LLC, she has worked as the head of legal department in a large administrative service provider with international presence.

Her main focus is on corporate, commercial, banking and finance transactions, with experience in international transactions relating to foreign clientele. She has been involved in and is undertaking the drafting of documentation in relation to secured financing transactions and has been advising foreign law firms acting as leading counsels in such transactions on matters relating to the Cyprus legislation.  She has also performed complex legal due diligences for international clients and multinational organizations with respect to potential acquisitions. Andrea also provides daily legal support to the clientele of the Firm on matters of their continuous operations and activities with clients recommending her as “very knowledgeable, kind, loyal, trustworthy, cooperative, assisting, excellent to work with and sensible”  (The Legal 500 EMEA 2022)
