Position

Bastian Thurneysen areas of expertise are national and international tax law. He advises groups of companies, small and medium enterprises and start-ups on all tax law issues, in particular on mergers and acquisitions, financing, reorganizations and employee participation plans. In addition, he advises on tax issues in the crypto area and advises private clients in all tax matters. One of Bastian Thurneysen’s areas of expertise is tax litigation, in particular in the area of international tax administrative assistance. As co-author of iusNet Steuerrecht, Bastian Thurneysen is always informed about the latest case law in tax law and advises his clients efficiently and practically.

Career

From 2014 to 2021, he worked in the tax department of a large commercial law firm in Zurich.
