Julia is Partner – Corporate & Commercial Law attorney with “Platis – Anastassiadis & Associates Law Partnership”, member of EY Greece. She joined the firm in 2019.
Prior to joining the firm, she headed for 12 years the Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice in a tier-one law firm in Athens. She specializes in Competition Law, M&As, Healthcare & Life Sciences Law, Agency and Distribution. With a strong background also on M&As and competition law, Julia has developed in-depth experience in advising leading multinational clients of the healthcare sector on different regulatory and commercial matters, spanning from compliance and ethics, to commercial arrangements. Highlights of her practice include assistance in compliance audits and external investigations of pharmaceutical and medical devices companies, support in the acquisitions of pharma and medical devices businesses in Greece and the post-acquisition integration, negotiation of different co-operation agreements and supporting GSK in the renowned parallel trade case. She has extensive experience in advising companies in the life sciences sector on complex matters, including clawback and rebates, codes of conduct and interaction with HCPs, good distribution practices and marketing activities, product authorizations and registrations, ex-officio investigations, corporate reorganizations and acquisitions.
