Intern and subsequently junior legal expert at the Bulgarian National Assembly (2003 – 2005). Assistant professor in Civil Law (2004 – 2012), Commercial Law (2004 – present) and Capital Markets (2012 – present) at the Law Faculty of the Sofia University. Member of the Board of Directors of Bulgargaz JSC (March – November 2005). In 2006 Viktor Tokushev founded the Tokusev and Partners Law Office and has been a Managing Partner ever since.

Tokushev And Partners Law Office has experience of assisting businesses to negotiate lease agreements for office and manufacturing spaces, notably having advised United Bulgarian Bank on a €2.8m deal to acquire office space in Sofia’s Millennium Center for their new headquarters. The firm also advise on the acquisition and disposal of commercial real estate assets. Viktor Tokushev and Ivan Antov jointly lead the team.
Tokushev And Partners Law Office has been heavily involved in the setting-up and ongoing operation of the Fund Manager of Financial Instruments in Bulgaria, a state-owned investment fund with €600m under management. For private clients, the firm assists with the collection of debts and receivables, regulatory compliance, and bond placements. Practice head Viktor Tokushev has expertise in assisting investment companies with AML and MiFID II compliance and Stiliyan Nedev advises on bank loans, including provision, amendment, and NPL collection. Senior associate Boris Teknedzhiev has worked on capital markets transactions, loans, and securitisation.
