Career

Giacomo deals with out of court assistance in the fields of maritime and intermodal transport law, port law, insurance law, and international trade law for top-tier clients, including ship owners, Lloyd’s Syndicates, freight forwarders, terminal and logistics operators in advising them on drafting and reviewing contracts, claim handling and drafting pro veritate legal advice.
Giacomo is also highly-skilled in litigation since having assisted clients at both the trial and appellate level proceedings before Civil and Tax Courts. He also assists clients in national and foreign arbitration proceedings.

Giacomo joined the Firm in 2019.
Previously, he worked in a law firm specialized in shipping, transport and insurance law. During his career, he has been outsourced to the law firm DeOrchis&Partners LLP in New York specializing in Admiralty and Maritime Law.
