Career

Benedetto is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Department. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions and private equity, IPO and capital markets transactions (ECM). He has significant experience in both cross-border and domestic transactions, as well as carve-outs, joint ventures, LBOs, and initial public (IPO) and other securities offerings (with particular focus on Euronext Markets). He also frequently advises companies and their boards of directors on corporate legal matters. He has advised a broad range of public and private clients across many industries, including technology and digital, web, software, industrial, media and advertising, private equity, and financial institutions.
He oversees the Global Mobility’s team of LCA.

Benedetto joined the Law Firm in 2007.
Since 2012, he has also been a member of the Genoa-located team. Previously to that, he had worked for the law firm Jacob J. Sapochnick in San Diego (USA) and afterwards for a primary law firm specialized in the shipping sector assisting P&I clubs, ship-owners and maritime agencies.

Benedetto regularly participates, as a speaker, in seminars and workshops related to Capital Market themes.
He usually writes articles on the topics of his interest. He is co-author with Alessia Ajelli of the Italian chapter of “The Corporate Immigration Review 2014” published by Law Business Research.

In January 2023, the firm hired Andrea Marani, Gianni & Origoni’s former financial markets practice co-head. Marani’s arrival extends the firm’s IPO capabilities to cover the Milan Borsa’s main list.
