Position

Suzan, partner and lawyer, advises on a full spectrum of complex employment issues including litigation and dispute resolution, (European) works councils and unions and the employment aspects of all types of corporate transactions. Through an open-minded and analytical approach, she works in close partnerships with her clients at board and management level to help with employment and co-determination related matters.  She advises and represents national and international companies in respect of dismissals, collective dismissals, reorganisations, outsourcing, downsizings, national and European co-determination, health & safety, employment conditions and benefits, Collective Labour Agreements (CAOs), corporate governance and boardroom and senior executive issues.

Member of the Dutch Employment Law Association (VAAN) and the The Hague Chapter of the Employment Law Association (VHA).

Education

Suzan obtained her degree in Dutch law from Radboud University Nijmegen in 1985. Her final thesis on the ‘Condition Subsequent in Employment Agreements’ was awarded the Levenbach thesis prize. Suzan completed the Grotius specialisation course on Employment Law.
