Career
I am an associate at Sorainen and my specialisation includes real estate and construction law. Since joining Sorainen, I have been involved in very topical energy projects.
Understanding the sector. Before joining Sorainen, I worked for the two largest companies in the Latvian construction sector. This allowed me both to get acquainted with the legal requirements for construction-related transactions and to gain a deeper understanding of the technical issues in construction. This kind of knowledge, combined with my experience working on construction projects, enables me to advise clients throughout the development process of construction projects, as well as to understand the business aspects of clients’ problems.
Challenges for the real estate industry. Along with construction issues, I have encountered real estate purchase and sale transactions, as well as lease issues.
Mission. In my opinion, the principal mission for a lawyer is helping other people. Nothing makes you feel satisfied like helping someone who has turned to you for assistance.
