Adv. Itai Bassis is a partner and head of the Municipal Taxation Department at Firon Law Firm.

Itai has extensive experience and expertise in municipal taxation, covering all its aspects, including general property tax, levies and charges, civil and administrative litigation on various issues involving cumulative amounts of billions of shekels. This includes achievements and objections regarding property taxation, administrative appeals, and various civil claims before a wide range of judicial instances, including professional appeals committees, arbitrations, and mediations, as well as dispute resolution processes involving relevant factors and in various courts (magistrate, district, and supreme).

Among other things, Itai specializes in legal support, representation, and consultancy on various issues related to local government, editing and accompanying tenders, drafting urban planning legislation, and participating in other legislative processes. Furthermore, Itai specializes in in-depth and complex legal opinions on various municipal issues.

Over the years, Itai has gained extensive experience representing authorities and entities from Dan to Eilat in his role as a founding partner in a law firm specializing in representing authorities in this field.
