Career

Andrés is a Senior Associate of the Financial Regulation and Collective Investment Schemes (CISs) Practice. He joined the firm in 2010.

He advises CISs in all kinds of corporate transactions, such as capital increases and reductions, mergers, corporate restructuring, winding-up processes and dissolutions, distributions of dividends, changes in investment policy and portfolio management delegation, etc.

Andrés also provides services as secretary to the board of directors of 400 Variable Capital Investment Companies (SICAV) and ongoing legal advice to numerous investment funds. He advises primarily regarding company incorporations, registrations in and de-registrations from the various Commercial Registries and the registers of the CNMV and admissions to trading on the Alternative Stock Market (MAB).

Before joining the firm, he worked in the legal department of a multinational energy company.
