Partner Pavel Dejl heads KSB’s Dispute Resolution and Competition/Antitrust practices. He represents Czech and international clients such as Alstom Power, Sberbank, Czech Television, Heineken, Charles University and Prague Airport in dispute resolution and arbitration matters. In his most high-profile case, Pavel represented Delta Pekárny, helping the company to win a dispute before the European Court of Human Rights, which was named Competition Case of the Year in the Lawyer European Awards 2015. In competition matters, in particular in merger and antitrust proceedings before the Czech Competition Authority and Czech courts, Pavel has successfully advised and represented clients such as RWE Transgas, O2, Schneider Electric, Reckitt Benckiser, Phillips and Skanska. He also advises on state aid matters and represented the Czech National Bank in proceedings regarding alleged state aid provided to Czech banks. Pavel recently advised Asiana and LEO Express in court private competition enforcement disputes for damages, as well as Mattoni  1873/Pepsi and Penam/United Bakeries in merger clearance proceedings before the Czech Competition Authority.
