KSB Partner Sylvie Sobolová specializes in public procurement and state aid, intellectual and industrial property law, european community law, competition law, litigation and arbitration and securities and capital markets.

Examples of relevant experience include advising on the preparation and execution of tender procedures for a wide range of public, sectoral and subsidized contracting authorities, including tender procedures under the EU Financial Regulation, legal advice to bidders and extensive experience representing clients in proceedings involving tenders, competition and state aid. Recently, Sylvie represented a client in international investment arbitration against another EU Member State at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes.

Sylvie graduated from the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University (1998 – Mgr., 1999 – JUDr.) with additional doctoral studies at the University of Economics (2004 – PhD.). She also studied at University of Oxford (1998-1999), Hague Academy of International Law (1997) and completed five-month educational stay at the Court of First Instance of European Communities in Luxembourg (2003).
