Managing Associate
Rami Arda Yörükoğlu is a member of the Firm’s employment law team with particular expertise in labor disputes and advises domestic and multinational companies on their employment law matters, including internal disciplinary proceedings, internal investigations, termination and redundancy proceedings, human resources planning, tailor-made employment contracts, implementation of global policies, as well as collective labor law-related matters. He assists clients in negotiations regarding all employment-related matters, including representing clients in settlement and mediation negotiations with current or former executives, negotiating collective bargaining agreements with unions, representing clients before governmental agencies and non-governmental organizations. He is also experienced in white-collar crime-related criminal disputes.
Arda advises clients on personal data privacy law, with particular focus on employment law aspects such as management of employee data and establishment of a compliance mechanism at workplace. He also advises foreign clients and Turkish nationals on their civil law matters, with a special focus on inheritance law related matters.
Throughout his career, Arda has advised a number of multinational clients in a wide range of sectors, including luxury goods, sports, information technologies, construction and media, such as Tik Tok, Gucci, Prada, Dyson, Superdry, UL, PVH Corporation, Agence France-Presse, Boyner, Alsim Alarko, Wabtec Corporation, QTerminals, Bank of New York Mellon, General Electric, Louis Dreyfus Company, World Courier, VHV Group, TPI Composites, People Center Inc, Gano Excel, Abdi İbrahim, Natro, Huntsman, Mavenir, Uber, Dover Corporation, TMF Group, Pure Salmon, Cummins, Avalara and Mediterra Capital.
