Position
Ms. Sharon Gazit is a partner in FBC Hi-Tech, Technology and Venture Capital practice.
Ms. Gazit specializes in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and technology and commercial transactions, and represents a broad array of start-up companies in their day-to-day legal and business activities. Ms. Gazit represents Israeli startups and top-tier venture capital funds in Israel and abroad, as well as international corporate and strategic investors, in a wide variety of private equity financings.
Ms. Gazit has been recognized as a leading partner in the Israeli private equity and hi-tech field since its early days, and advises companies from their early stages on all legal, business and commercial activities, including corporate governance, finance, commercial, employment, compensation and intellectual property matters. She advises companies from a wide array of industries, including food-tech, fin-tech, cyber security, AI, fem-tech, and more, and provides continuous consulting to entrepreneurs and company founders regarding their ongoing and evolving relations with their companies, as well as matters relating to company formation, recruitment of service providers, compensation matters, shareholder relations, financing and complex restructuring. She plays an active role in helping companies tackle daily challenges in all aspects of their operations and business. Ms. Gazit possess significant expertise relating to transactions involving intellectual property licensing, especially in the life sciences fields, and has represented companies in this field for many years, including pharmaceutical companies, medical instruments companies, technology incubators and research centers.
Ms. Gazit is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) (“officer” in official IBA nomenclature) and served as Co-Chair of the Healthcare and Life Sciences Law Committee of the IBA.
Alongside her professional work, Ms. Gazit lectures before various professional and academic forums, including the International Bar Association, the Coller Ignite Entrepreneurship Club and the Tel Aviv University, where she teaches a course on legal and financial principles for entrepreneurship.
