Position

Partner and Head of the Competition Law Practice. He has extensive experience in advising on Polish and EU competition law, including matters involving concentration control, collusive arrangements and prohibited restrictions in distribution agreements.

In his practice to date, he has supported businesses in various sectors, including FMCG wholesale and retail distribution, energy, transport, fuels, automotive parts, construction and real estate. He has advised in numerous complex concentration proceedings in Poland in which precedential definitions of relevant markets were developed. He has also been involved in many antitrust proceedings and appeals against decisions issued by the Competition and Consumer Protection Office, including in the case of a cartel on the cement market. He advised in one of the first antitrust proceedings in which the charge of concluding a prohibited agreement was also brought against management personnel.

Jarosław also has extensive experience in advising on regulations on combating unfair use of a contractual advantage and preventing payment backlogs.
