Career
Michele began his professional career at Camozzi & Bonissoni in 1993 for then joining Simmons & Simmons where – from 1999 to 2016 – he was the Head of the Italian tax practice and – from 2010 – he also held the position of Country Head of the Firm. He mainly advises clients on tax issues relating to lending transactions, Equity and Debt Capital Market and Structured Finance. He has also provided tax assistance to several companies and funds for tax litigation on the same matters. Michele has also acquired a solid experience in M&A and Private Equity transactions, both sell-side and buy-side. From February 1, 2017 he is Partner of CBA Studio Legale e Tributario.
