Christian is Managing Partner at PwC Legal Austria and heads the Corporate and M&A practice. He is an experienced specialist in the field of transactions and has over 20 years of experience in advising strategic and financial investors in, both, buy-side and sell-side acquisitions. Christian’s industry experience ranges from technology to services and includes private equity and venture capital. He regularly advises US, international and domestic clients on strategic legal matters.
Christian is among Austria’s leading M&A lawyers, before he founded PwC Legal Austria, he worked with leading law firms like Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and the strategy consulting firm The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). In recent years, Christian focused extensively on legal technology and the future of law. He holds a doctoral and masters degree from the University of Vienna and an LL.M. from the University of Chicago.
