Donvay Wegierski leads the substantial foreign trade mark division within the firm’s Intellectual Property (IP) practice area. Donvay has 15 years’ experience managing a diverse range of clients in IP matters, including large FMCGs; banking and insurance; technology; wine and agriculture in over 80 countries worldwide. Her expertise includes trade mark portfolio management; trade mark searching filing and prosecution matters; trade mark oppositions and passing off matters; due diligence reports in IP commercial transactions; counterfeit goods; and domain names. She has advised extensively on NAFDAC in Nigeria, implications of Brexit, laws and nuances in China and trade mark formalities throughout Africa.
