Career
Donvay Wegierski leads the substantial foreign trade mark division within the firm’s Intellectual Property (IP) practice area. Donvay has 15 years’ experience managing a diverse range of clients in IP matters, including large FMCGs; banking and insurance; technology; wine and agriculture in over 80 countries worldwide. Her expertise includes trade mark portfolio management; trade mark searching filing and prosecution matters; trade mark oppositions and passing off matters; due diligence reports in IP commercial transactions; counterfeit goods; and domain names. She has advised extensively on NAFDAC in Nigeria, implications of Brexit, laws and nuances in China and trade mark formalities throughout Africa.
Donvay has fifteen years of experience advising on a diverse range of IP matters with clients such as large FMCG’s, banking and insurance, technology, wine and agriculture in over eighty countries worldwide.
