Partner in Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Law and member of our German Desk.

Career

Michael Samol works on transactions mainly with an international dimension. He advises French and foreign companies, particularly German, on their operations in France, as well as French companies on their operations abroad. He advises on corporate M&A (including private equity and distressed M&A), domestic and cross-border restructurings as well as contractual cooperation projects and joint ventures.

Michael started his career more than 15 years ago at Clifford Chance (Paris, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt offices) where he stayed for more than 10 years. He was seconded for more than a year to Airbus Group. Prior to joining LPA-CGR Avocats, he was counsel at the French law firm Jeantet.

Michael graduated in France (DESS in international trade law, Maîtrise in business law from the University of Paris X, Nanterre) and in Germany as a Rechtsanwalt (Erstes und Zweites Juristisches Staatsexamen, Potsdam and Düsseldorf).
