Career

Kim Geurts has been working as an attorney with Wijn & Stael since 2018. Her practice focuses on counseling and representing clients in litigation matters involving corporate disputes involving financing, securities and insolvency issues. She litigates cases before the trial and appellate courts as well as the Supreme Court.​

Extensive Training and Experience
Kim earned her PhD in a comparative law dissertation on security for supplier credit. As part of her dissertation, she spent several months as a visiting scholar at St. John’s University in New York City. She also coached the team that participated in the International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court competition. Kim regularly writes articles about and gives lectures on subjects relating to insolvency, corporate and property law.
